[G2] Help with French Characters

I have a site that can switch from English to French and when it does so, Gallery2 imageblock shows up as:

Image aléatoire

Date : 18.12.2005 Affichages : 0 Propriétaire : admin

I am open to either finding a way to translate correctly or even more simple remove the title and text below the pic.

I have looked at the tpl file but being very new to this I dont know what to change.

Any help would be appreaciated.

Hi,

this sounds like your site is not using UTF-8, but Gallery does.

How would I change the code to remove the Random Image title and text below the pic like owner, etc.

This is not a question of your host.

It depends on YOUR website.

will2b: in Site Admin / Imageblock you can set defaults for which fields are shown below the image block. In theme settings where you select blocks you can also override these defaults.
