Post images by email?

I know. It is a crazy idea but here goes anyway. Is there a way to post images to a gallery album by sending it as an email attachment to some address that invoke a program to strip the image from the email and post it in an album? The album could be temporary to wait for further assignment or a permanent one. I was only thinking of this in anticipation of being on the road. I know I could use the remote control device too. Perhaps this would be a security risk? Just thinking out loud.
