Add Watermark to Existing Pictures globally?

I was wondering if there is a way to add a watermark to all the existing pictures in the database? Maybe a setting to apply watermark globally? I dont seem to see that anywhere in the forums. I have 20k images already up and would like to have them all watermarked. If this isnt possible it would be nice to have that setting in a future version.

In Gallery 2.2, you can do this via "edit album -> watermark" in the root album.
In Gallery 2.1.2, there's no such option.

Thanks thats awesome. How stable is 2.2 and what if any is the ETA for the release of that?

Very stable. A first release candidate is due any day.
But the final release is sure a month away.
