Adding a custom field value into image info on album pages

I have a Gallery 2.2 installation using a theme modified from Carbon Theme. On an album page I wish to display the value of one custom field alongside summary information - owner, date, views etc.

In album.tpl I have found

<div class="gbBlock">
{g->block type="core.ItemInfo"
item=$theme.item
showDate=true
showSize=true
showOwner=true
class="giInfo"}
</div>

But I can't see how I can do anything within the theme to add a custom field value in.

Any clues?

Can anyone give me any pointers on this? Is it something that is likely to be solvable directly in the theme, or will it need delving into core files? When it calls core.ItemInfo, where exactly is that? THanks, James

Just to say that this is now resolved - I think it was a combination of an old version of the Carbon theme running in Gallery 2.2 and some caching issues. See http://www.whatsthatpicture.com/?q=gallery
