Hello everybody out there, best wishes to the new year - and one troubleshooting question, maybe you can help me.
I have gallery 2.1.2 running on windows for a longer time now, have already thousands of pictures uploaded with Gallery Remote (using 1.5-b30 for a couple of weeks now), and since yesterday evening I get an error message when trying to upload pictures with GR.

Please accept that the actual domain name is replaced with "myserver" in the following error message which I receive:
Error: Server contacted but Gallery not found at this URL ( http://myserver/main.php )

I can exclude that it is an PHP error since accessing the gallery, logging in, viewing pictures - everything is fine. Only uploading does not work any more - it did for about 15'000 pictures within the last 4 months with the same configuration and since yesterday evening it does not work any more.

Gallery Remote module is installed and activated within site administration, I verified this (and I could not imagine other situations on this since it already worked).

So what happens is when I upload a picture with gallery remote the picture gets uploaded completely, it takes a few seconds and then this error message rises up inside the upload window, but when taking a look at the gallery the picture got actually uploaded and is visible within the gallery - but GR does believe it is not...

Does somebody have an idea or a solution ?

Thanks, Oliver

Ladies and Gentlemen, I found the solution. This reaction of gallery remote came from a problem with module "moderate" - it seems that there is a misconfiguration in the module "moderate" since it tells me that there is no table g2.toapprove...
Deinstalling / deactivating the module "moderate" will solve the problem.

Kind regards, Oliver

Good for you. But I don't have this module and I have about the same problem:

I can connect, I can create new albums, I can start uploading. The images are even stored on the server (G2 2.0.2, Debian, Apache), always twice (!) and there will not be created a highlight or a preview but the images itself could be displayed in the item-view.

It seems that the "server processing" doesn't work at the moment. Can anyone gif me a hint whats wrong there?

Kind regards,
pah

Same problem here and I don't have that module either.
