did you ask your system administrator? they should know how to install gettext.
Hi everybody. I've more or less the same problem as samisu. I only would like to change the (in my opinion) very awful german translation of the frontpage links to the three dynamic albums (updates, most seen etc.).
So I've tried to follow the above mentioned links. i.e.: "http://codex.gallery2.org/index.php/Gallery2:Localization", but honestly, this can't be true!
Please tell me, I do not have to read and install all of this only to change three short lines of language?
Is there anybody who can help me in an easier way to do this?
I am talkin about the lines:
Die neuesten Aktualisierungen anschauen
Populäre Elemente anschauen
Zufällige Elemente anschauen
They are just to long to look nice in a menu. In my opinion it would be better to write:
Neue Bilder (or Neue Elemente)
Populäre Bilder (or Populäre Elemente)
Zufällige Bilder (or Zufällige Elemente)
Just short and clean, how a menu should be.
Hope this sounds not to bossy ;-)
Thanks for any ideas
