I manage three websites that include an instance of Gallery2. They are all embedded in Geeklog. Last December I upgraded to the latest stable versions of Gallery2, Geeklog, and the Gallery plugin for Geeklog. Everything worked fine -- I could get to the pages, and add photos with Gallery Remote. (Whew!)

Then, as a security measure I moved all three websites from /var/www/html to /home/username, and this appears to have broken Gallery Remote.

I can still get to the galleries to view them, and I can log into each gallery and do maintenance, and I can add photos with Windows Web Publisher. But when I log into a website with Gallery Remote, I get the message that I'm logged in, but no Albums appear in the left hand side.

I had the accounts set up in GR as Type Standalone (never got the Type Geeklog to work) with an URL of http://ip_address/username/public_html/gallery2. This worked fine. Now, the gallery2 instances exist at /home/username/public_html/gallery2, and apache is set to interpret http://ip_address/~username as pointing to the user's public_html directory. Point a browser at http://ip_address/~username/gallery2 and you can view and manage the gallery just fine.

So I changed the URLs in Gallery Remote to http://ip_address/~username/gallery2, and it *appears* to log in, you just don't get anything under Albums. If (just for grins) I click on New Album, nothing happens.

I'm not sure what to check next. I can add photos with Web Publisher, so I'm not exactly dead in the water, but I miss the crop, preview and metadata editing in Gallery Remote.

Help?
