Before I get too involved...

I would like to just know roughly how much time is needed for a project like this, so I don't find myself too overworked, and how everyone is communicating.

I tend to use the net for about 1-2 hour(s) a day to make sure my emails are OK and let people contact me. I tend not to go on the net at home, but can freely access it from school, work and friends, which is where I normally am when I'm surfing the net.

for the next 2 weeks or so, I have tonnes of school work, but after that I have loads of time, and a project like this should occupy my my spare time , and prevent me from getting 'bored'.

However it would be nice to know how much time is required, so I can plan a bit ahead, and make sure i can commit myself, as I don't want let anyone down.

Also how will people communicate ? I use MSN a lot and sometimes go in ICQ and AIM. Maybe people should list their contact deatils here.

For completeness, here are my details

msn:

icq: 94553338
aim: MiiJaySung
email: Jason + hybd.net

(I used the + to stop harvesters eating my address, in place of @, I don't get spam in this inbox and I wanna keep it this way  )

Sorry, for those who are wondering...

This post was ment to be a reply, but I was not thinking and clicked 'post new message' instead. However, i copied my reply into the right place, and edited this message as I wanted to find out how much time I need to dedicate. Sorry about that.

A project like this can eat up all your free time. It certainly eats all of my time. Until we get the UI team organized and you get assigned a specific role, it's hard to say exactly how much of your time it'll involve. Give us a week or two to sort things out and you'll have a better idea.

Well in some ways it's good, the next week I will have tonnes on my mind, the week after that, I'll probably loaded with work, though I could probably do some work, after that I finfish school for GOOD  and I will have pretty much everyday to myself to do what I want. I do work a little bit, but I'll be able to dedicate several hours a day to the project from then until October. In October I start university, but as everyone seems to say, the first year is easy and I'll still have plenty of time hopefully
