thumbnails to lightbox

I am no coder, nor can I begin to understand how this awesome software was written.

One feature I'd loveeeeee to see is the ability to display a certain albums pictures as thumbnails within a post. ex: wordpress. Something like 3 columns by 10 rows etc.

The ability to go from those displayed thumbnails directly to the lightbox plugin would be awesome.

ex: <wpg2 album:12 display:15(pictures) />

I'd like to cut out the fluff on trying to modify a template and use thumbnails directly to the full size img.

oh and if there is a way to display thumbnails already, where is it? Maybe I missed it in searching.
