Newest GR and G2 Issue

I've done dozens of G1 and G2 installs. I've never had any problems using them with GR. But yesterday I ran into a strange problem.

I did an error-free install of Gallery 2.1.2 (Core v1.1.0.2) and activated the Remote module (v1.0.6). However, I cannot get any Gallery Remote clients to connect to my gallery:

Getting the message from GR: "Error: Server contacted, but Gallery not found at this URL. (http://www.bloomutoday.com/gallery/gallery_remote2.php)"

I've Googled a bunch and searched here, but haven't found any clear & concise answer. I really don't see what the issue is. I've compared directory structures with other working G2 Galleries I have and don't see what the problem is off-hand.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I found that earlier, tried uploading a copy of gallery_remote2.php with the right code, and GR then replies with this error:

Error: HTTP POST fail (HTTP 404 )

So I have tried that.

I had exactly the same problem. I was poking around and found "Gallery Remote Debug.exe" in the install directory (I'm on Windows server Linux). I ran that and from then on everything seemed to be working correctly, including the normal Gallery Remote.exe.

The problem seems to have randomly fixed ITSELF. I didn't do anything after messing with it after these posts... now it works. Go figure.
