Imported one album fine, now it freezes after 3 photos.

I have copied over my albums directory from my old, soon to be taken offline, webserver, and I'm using Dreamhost webhosting for what it's worth.

I created a main "archive" album in v2, and I'm trying to import everything into it.

The first album it imported worked fine. 147 items (technically 5 sub-albums, 142 pictures) listed.

The next album I tried importing, as soon as it goes to the progress bar- it's frozen. I tried the album on it's own a few times, and even a couple other albums. Every time, it imports 3 photos, brings up the progress bar, and is frozen.

3 photos every time, regardless of the album I try importing.

I don't understand why the first album I did with over 100 photos and including sub-albums worked fine, and now nothing gets past 3 photos.

I don't know what may cause this- but I'm hesitant to try just add the photos outside of the import process- unless there's a way to just import the data (comments, view counts, etc) after the fact.

I'm now getting the following error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 52428800 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 71106565 bytes) in /home/public_html/gallery/modules/exif/lib/exifer/makers/olympus.inc on line 155

I've been looking around for problems importing Olympus photos, the only thing I saw to try was increasing PHP's memory limit. I added the following line to the end of /home/public_html/gallery/.htaccess

php_value memory_limit 100M

Up at the top right, Memory used: 18799372, total: 50M

Still only imports 3 photos, which on closer inspection were shot with a Canon Powershot (same with the first album that imported).

Any help would be really appreciated, thank you.

I suppose this is good. I disabled the exif module and was able to import the photos fine. Turning the module back on after importing will then start showing the information again when you look at the photos.

No clue why this error happened, but at least I found a way around it. Hopefully that will be of use to others with the problem, or anyone trying to fix it.

Make sure GD is last on the toolkit priority.

I'm using NetPMB and GD in that order.

I tried the first thing mentioned in the faq (modifying .htaccess), but never bothered with modifying main.php & index.php.

The results of ulimit -a are
