I've install bridge for joomla, and encounter these error:
1. I can not sync users. when I click 'sync' button it throws an error:
Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in ....components/com_gallery2/classes/user.class on line 190
2.When I click on a username on user management section, it also throws this error:
An error occurred, here is the Gallery 2 Error:
Error (ERROR_MISSING_OBJECT) : 63 GalleryUser
.........
3. When I log-in joomla while gallery component is opened, this errors comes out:
User Collision error, the same username is already in use and cannot be linked together with the current settings.

I'm using joomla 1.0.12, gallery 2.1.2, bridge 2.0.14
Please help me,
Jalijack

Hello,

I did a few searches but only found this relevant topic, so I'm raising this from the depths...

How can the quoted error be corrected...?

Any direction is appreciated

Hello again,

Has anyone run into this error...?
I'm looking for any suggestion to correct this...
I'm not sure why this is occurring so I don't where to start to trouble-shoot...

A little back ground: clean Joomla install(1.0.12), SMF migration & G2(2.2.1)
How does a Joomla User get added to the G2 user list...? Sync is supposed to migrate G2 users into Joomla, but I'm not sure this is happening...
If I go into Gallery 3 component --> User Management, I can see who isn't mapped to the G2 DB... It seems anyone not mapped cannot interact with my G2 Gallery...

Any direction appreciated,
Jim

Check you have the latest G2 Joomla bridge.
Resync your users.

If it's the admin user causing problems with sync, then go to G2 directly (outside of Joomla) and check that the admin user in G2 has the same email etc as the admin you are using in Joomla.

It was the last thing I checked and it worked for me.
I had a different email address in G2 for admin.
As soon as I chnaged that i was away.

all i need now is a CB plugin and a lightbox effect and I'll be happy.

Thanks for the reply ! ! !

I have checked to ensure both admins have the same email address.
I'm currently utilizing G2 Bridge 2.0.14 which I think is the latest version...
I noticed you mention CB... Could CB be conflicting since I have this component installed...?
I also noticed that when I go into Components -> Gallery 2 -> User Management; I see that some of the usershave green check marks in the Gallery 2 Column. It's one of these users that is having the collision error so I'm confused as to why this occurs if the user is present in both Databases, Joomla & G2...

Any direction appreciated,
Jim

Where do you look to see if your information was typed in correctly? Lee?

Element926, if you are having this issue still, take a look at this thread of mine. I used that version of the bridge and it worked perfectly wiht out me even having to run a wizard to find the pathes... it was all filled in from the start.
