Setting up Random Image Block for Gallery 1.5 in Joomla?

I've got Joomla 1.0.12 running, along with Gallery 1.5.5-pl1. So far, so good. :-)

How exactly do I add the Random Block as a module in Joomla? I did a search on these forums, but most of them are coming up for Gallery2, not 1.5.

If possible, I'd like to ask for a step-by-step, so it's documented for good.

I was able to get a Module off of Mamboforge to do this, I'm all set.
