Adobe Lightbox to Gallery?

Anyone thinking about/working on this one? I've been evaluating Lightbox and am very impressed. It would also be nice to be able to publish directly, and ideally create sub albums from stacks.

'could be some $$ on the table ;;)

As always, it's possible but someone who knows how to make plugins for Lightbox would have to implement it, probably using the Gallery Remote protocol. None of the core developers has programmed for Lightbox, but if someone steps up to do it we would of course assist them in getting the implementation done.

I'm interested in a Lightroom plug-in for managing photos on Gallery.

I'm very interested in a lightroom to gallery plugin as well.
It already exists sollutions for apps like picasa ( http://codex.gallery2.org/Gallery2:Modules:picasa ), aperture ( http://www.apertureplugins.com/ ) and iphoto ( http://zwily.com/iphoto/ ). Ideally, I'm looking for something like the Aperture plugin.

Lightroom is a fearly new app, and we are also waiting for the SDK for lightroom to come out. So that might be the reason noone has looked into this yet. Some useful reading about the SDK: http://since1968.com/article/190/mark-hamburg-interview-adobe-photoshop-lightroom-part-2-of-2

The arrival of tools like Aperture and Lightoom might impact tools as Gallery.

Before using Lightroom, I edited all the pictures I selected in PS, then uploading and sortings things out with Gallery.

With Lightroom, I tend to sort much more, annotate, improve pictures. As a result, I am not interted any longer in some features of Gallery (sorting). I see Gallery as the tool to serve pictures, count views, take comments...
