Hello -

Gallery, functionally and flexibility-wise, is looking like the best fit for a project we're working on currently. This project has a budget of several thousand (US) dollars. The project is for a large media company's web site, not to create / distribute a "competing" project / software package.

We're looking for options regarding commercial development and support of Gallery.

I completely understand and appreciate the deep and active Gallery community. I further understand we can hire PHP developers to help. What I'm hoping for is to contract with a "Gallery expert" to provide customization and ongoing support with some kind of "Service Level Agreement." (This kind of formality is required in our environment.)

If there is a better place to ask this question, I appreciate you letting me know that, as well.

Great job, Gallery Team & Community - this is Good Stuff.

Thanks -

Hello -

Gallery is our pick for a project to replace our current photo upload site. This project has a budget of several thousand (US) dollars. In my earlier post, we were in the decision-making process; now we've decided Gallery is the way to go. Excellent job, Gallery Team & Community.

We're looking for options regarding development and support of Gallery. We'd like to contract with a "Gallery expert" to provide customization and, possibly, ongoing support with some kind of "Service Level Agreement."

We don't yet have our complete functional requirements, but the customizations will mostly be around administrative user tools (creating albums; finding and acting on multiple user photos simultaneously) and registration / workflow enhancements for our users. We have designers, producers and developers in-house, so our Gallery expert(s) will be working hand in glove with our staff. Work is scheduled starting May 1 and will be complete no later than May 26.

If you're interested and available, please respond to this post or send me a note (smcnally at parade dot com).

Thanks
