Upload (non Gallery2) Images From Server?

Hey guys, I'm new the Gallery2 and am looking at installing it on a server which currently hosts about 5000 pictures. My question is, what would be the easiest/fastest way to import those pictures into Gallery2? Since they're located on the server already, I'd like to save the hassle of having to download them and re-upload them back to the server through Gallery2. I noticed that Galler2 supports a Zip archive upload. Is there any limit to the size/number of pictures in an archive? Can you import via URL? Answers to these questions would be greatly appreciated and I hope I posted in the correct forum. Thanks, |
