I'm trying to do a 2.1 to 2.2 upgrade on my Gallery install and running into an odd one. I've untarred the tar.gz into my gallery2 directory (actually gallery - I renamed it to gallery2, untarred, and then renamed to gallery). However when I go to http://www.millardfam.com/gallery2/upgrade/ or http://www.millardfam.com/gallery2/install/ I get the 2.1 upgrade or installer and not 2.2? If I step through the 2.1 upgrade nothing is upgraded as it says I have all the correct versions. Any ideas?

you still have 2.1.1 files there.
either you didn't un-tar the files to the right folder or the folders aren't writeable for the user that un-tars.

(see http://www.millardfam.com/gallery2/modules/core/module.inc which is still the g2.1.1 version)

Thanks for the catch. After looking at my server I've got a Fantastico installed version of Gallery and then my actual Gallery that I use is in another subdirectory. I was just confused as to where my install actually was. Upgrade went without issues once I untarred to the correct directory.

Gocyclones, I too have a Fantastico installed version of Gallery (v2.1). Does this mean you were able to get two versions of Gallery installed side by side?
