Album Editing issues after migration from G1.5.5

Greetings!

I've recently migrated up from G1.5.5 to the latest G2 using Gallery 2 Bridge w/ Joomla v1.0.11
I'm experiencing problems setting album permissions. all I get is a blank page.
I don't believe this is an issue caused by the Joomla integration.
I've set permissions to directory g2data to 777

please check your webserver's error log.

FAQ: I get only a blank screen when trying to view my Gallery, what's wrong?
