Hello all
Ok, I've been trying hard for a while to get video thumbnails in my Gallery v1. Not much luck so far. I tried installing the ffmpeg or mplayer mod for G1 to do this, but my host does not support either ffmpeg or mplayer. They won't install them for me too . So I thought maybe I could install Gallery 2 which does support vid thumbnails. No good... my host won't let me have that either. (Dot5 Hosting - avoid them if you want a more complex website). That's leaves me with only one option I think. Is it possible to change the default video thumbnail image in G1 for each individual video??? Someone help me plz! Is there another way do to what I want perhaps? I really don't want to go through the hassle of moving host.
Thanks.
Ice

Excellent! Just what I needed. I'll give that a go. Thank you once again Floridave. Someone should give you a medal.

That works great, Floridave! One more question -- is there a way to use a video thumbnail as the album highlight? The "highlight" option is not in the "edit movie" dropdown menu.

Add the thumb you added for the movie. Highlight it, then hide it.
