Gallery version (not just "2"): Upgraded from 2 1 2 to 2 2 1
PHP version (e.g. 4.3.11):
PHPInfo Link (see FAQ):
Webserver (e.g. Apache 1.3.33): Dunno. But it's off a 1 & 1 Professional package so I assume it is Apache.
Database (e.g. MySql 4.0.11):
Activated toolkits (e.g. NetPbm, GD):
Operating system (e.g. Linux): Linux
Browser (e.g. Firefox 1.0): Firefox 2

I have upgraded and since doing so the option in the General part of preferences to specify Local Server Upload Paths has disappeared!
I thought perhaps I might be missing a module, so I went and checked in the list under "plugins" - but nothing appears to be missing. Doing a search for " Local Server Upload Paths " doesn't appear to reveal any solutions either. I might be missing something really easy here. Your suggestions appreciated.

this feature has been moved into its own module called "item add."

Thank you, but I have looked through the Plugins list and I don't see anything called "Item Add". Where might I go about configuring "Item add" within the new Gallery infrastructure?

The quick start guide is not particularly clear, it says:

"Moved some functionality out of core and into optional modules: Add items module for adding from local server or other web pages, and Replica module for creating item copies sharing the same original data file."

However no informatin appears forthcoming on how to access this "optional module".
