Adding thumbnails to the Peers block in the sidebar.

Gallery 2.2.1/ all plugins and themes installed

I am having a challenging time putting thumbnails into the peer block in the Matrix sidebar.

The best my hacks have done is to show a link with the text [rendering error].

I am also very interested to know if it is possible to show thumbnails along with and/or instead of text links in the "Links to album/photo peers" block (for photo page and/or sidebar) Thanks!
