When I first used the dcraw plugin, I was surprised to see that the images loaded into the album looked totally different to what I was used to. I figured out that dcraw performs an automatic white balance on the raw data which makes my images looking quite strange. Further, I figured out that this is done by the -a switch of dcraw. In the module source I replaced the -a by -w which, according to dcraw's help page, uses the camera's white balance if available.
Well, both settings, automatic (-a) and camera (-w) may have their advantages but tweaking the source everytime I want to change the behavior of dcraw is annoying. Maybe it would be a good idea to make the dcraw settings / command line parameters configurable through the Gallery2 interface?
