cannot create albums or add photos

platform: win2k server w/sp3
php 4.2.2
mysql 3.23.52
phpnuke 5.6
gallery 1.3.1

problem: when logged on with user account i can see the albums and browse them but i cannot create new albums or add photos. the one thing i've noticed but can't fix is this: on the right side of the screen it say Welcome, and that's it no user name, but when logged on as admin it says Welcome, God and everything as it should, i can create albums, add photos, no problems.

How do i get the normal user accounts working right?

This post should be in the *Nuke forum, not in the general troubleshooting forum. I bet the answers are already listed in that forum.

Nuke users can't be granted permissions to create a top level album. They can be granted permission to create sub-albums. Did you give permissions to your Nuke users?

That's because the user you're logged in as did not fill out their Full Name field in Nuke. (It says "Welcome <FirstName> <LastName>" in the top right corner).
