"View Latest Comments" as default view

Can anyone help with this issue? I would like the default view in some of my albums to be the view I get when I hit "View Latest Comments". i.e. I don't want the users to have to hit the "View Latest Comments" button - but they should see the album in that view.

I can't use the comments block in the sidebar or in the image block to achieve the same thing - it just doesn't produce the same effect. Any thoughts on how to achieve this by a workaround.

e.g. some code which I can insert, so that in certain specified albums the "View Latest Comments" view is the default view.

I guess I misunderstood. Now I realise "VIew Latest Cmments" is a global view for the whole gallery.

But I need a view like this for certain individual albums. Is there a theme that achieves something similar?
i.e. a view where you see small thumbnails of the images (or sub galleries) with the comments next to each.
