Page cutoff, bad overview

The following information is required to get an answer:
Get this information from the PHP diagnostic (in the configuration wizard).
Gallery URL (optional but very useful): www.carpy.nl/gallery
Gallery version: 1.5.6
Apache version: 2.0.55
PHP version (don't just say PHP 4, please): 5.1.1
Graphics Toolkit: ImageMagick
Operating system: W2000
Web browser/version (if applicable):

Some Browsers give the error The server closed the connection while reading the response.
it gives the view as the link below, But if you refresh the page (F5) it vieuw most times then correct.

If i install a small clean gallery is works fine.
but when I use my main big gallery with 6GB and 31000 pictures I get errors.

I don't know where to search, where to start. no errors (as for I know)
It is a 2Ghz cpu server with 4GB of memmory on a 2Mbit SDSL (up/down) line.
most traffic is the gallery bu himself 500 uniek-visitors on a day

Hi Michael,

Is het ook zo zonnig in de nederlands?

Gallery1 was not designed for that huge ammount of photos. On "normal" servers you will notice problems from 5000 photos on.
On servers with "better" PHP configs you will still notice that Gallery gets slower and slower the more pictures and albums you have.

I guess your PHP has a memory limit and execution time limit.
In order to make your Gallery work you have to increase those.

If you like g2, you could migrate. G2 can handle more then half a million photos without problems.

hmm to bad.
I like Gallery1 better that the G2.
and If I split the gallery? like a archive that makes is better right?
(fast solution for the mean while, because it is really terrible now)

Ja het weer is hier heerlijk ;)
hopelijk blijft het zo van het weekend.
ik zou eigenlijk naar Wackersdorf gaan, maar ging op het laatste moment niet door :p
nu mag ik over 3weken erheen. (european championship Karting) ;)

Increasing the PHP limits will help.

installed a fresh PHP and Apache (the latest)
and Gallery is working fine again!
