Hello
How can I align the dates in the comment boxes? At the moment the dates align themselves depending on the length of the name of the commenter. I tried putting <p align="right"> in front of:
<span class="admin"><?php if ($myAlbum->lastCommentDate("no") != -1) { ?>
in the layout/commentboxtop.inc file, but that didn't work.
Maybe someone could give me a modified comments box for G1.5 that looks neater or something.
Any ideas? Please help!

Hello,
Can you explain a little more what you want to do ?
Maybe a screenshot and you mark what you want?
I am sure i can tell you what to modify (based on 1.5.6 code)

Here's a screenshot of what I mean:

As you can see the dates are not aligned. I don't think it looks very nice like that. I thought that the dates could be fixed on the right maybe? I'm not quite sure. It can't stay like that anyway.
I have attached the layout/commentboxtop file on this post if that helps. The file is supposed to be in .inc file format, but I had to put it in .txt format so I could attach the file.
Thanks for the help. Ice

Hello,
thanks for the link. I can see now what you mean. But ..
It seems i fixed this issue in a later version. As you are using a preversion of Gallery 1.5 (1.5-RC2) i can only suggest to upgrade to the latest version, which is 1.5.6.
Greetings,

Ok then. I don't have shell access to my web space. I only have access to the files themselves so I'll try upgrading using FTP.

I have a problem. I've uploaded all the 1.5.6 files and I re-ran the config wizard, but the wizard says: "Error: File .htaccess in your Gallery mainfolder is not writable by the webserver. - chmod it 777 before proceeding." I have chmoded it to 777 in the FTP client, but the error still comes up. I logged into my web host file manager to try and change permissions. The thing is... I can't see the .htaccess file in the setup directory even though I can see it in my FTP client (WS_FTP). It is though it is hidden or something. Help!
