Is it possible to enable a tool to make basic formatting in G1 custom fields?

I see that in G2 there is an option to enable BBCODE in descriptions, I'd like to have something like this option in G1 descriptions.

Thanks for any hints

Html is ok, but not all my users are able to use it, so I was searching something simple with a user friendly interface;
For example in G2 there are some buttons wich integrate simple bbcode in the description field, so a user with no much experience is able to insert formatted text.

Dont you think thats too much?

Keep in mind that the enconding might be easy at one place. But you have to decode it at various places...

But dont let this stop you! Just ask if you have questions or problems etc.

Yes tinymce is too much, but i'm using G1 integrated in a CMS (www.maxdev.com)and the latest version of this cms use tinymce, so probably for me the fastest and simplest way is to integrate this WYSIWYG editor, but disabling all the advanced options.

An other option is to start a G2 integration for MDPro...paying someone, because I'm not really able to do it.

Thanks for your reply
