place flv /swf file in logo spot / table ?

hi,

If possible, how do I place a flv or swf file ( with player ) in the logo position of the carbon theme please ? I've tried various kinds of linking, but assume I need that script / code for the flash player - I don't want the file to use the inline p[layer that G2 uses, I have a swf/player combo ( built in On2 Flix Pro ) if that helps in the understanding. .

Am getting lost and confused after attempts to use Firebug to help work it out...
