HI, There's a pretty slick lightbox style program but with more features out there ( here http://stickmanlabs.com/lightwindow/ ) that I can't install coz the support seems to ignore fairly newbs like me.( despite my enquiries to program creator ). It's like an advanced lightbox.......There are some guides for installation there but I'm not script savvy enough to confidently follow or attempt, and usually I can work things out if the guides are forgiving enough. So if anyone cares to look, and can 1. explain how I can do a normal site install and /or 2. explain or explore how to maybe incorporate it into gallery 2 ......that would be pretty damned good of you..... Would it be compatible with gallery 2 do you think ? ( anyone )..... It's a very smooth, and fast, bit of software I think ( there are demos at his site ) ...VERY much appreciated, paul THIS IS ME --- Gallery version = 2.2.1 core 1.2.0.1 |

To be honest with you I'm not entirely sure anyone is going to spent the time implementing this as a module or otherwise in Gallery. I checked it out a little and it's full of bugs .... half the demos right on the site don't work in FF and I haven't tried IE6 or other browsers.
Yes sure, I'll give you the cool factor, but if it doesn't work right you're in for a horrible user experience ;-)
Just a thought.

Has anyone attempted this besides me? I'm still trying to figure out how to get it to work.

I like the way you can browse to the other gallery folders from within the lightwindow. Also it worked fine with FF.
