Altering the overall look

How do I alter the look of the gallery? At the moment it is fairly boring looking. I would also like to change the heading but I just can't find anywhere to do it.

Also, how do I integrate the gallery with a joomla website? The gallery I have just created is in a subdomain, I would like to put one in the main website if possible. I just can't see how you can do it since you mustn't have any files in the directory before adding the gallery.

- documentation -> installation -> embedding
