best format for posting written / text pieces ?

hi, What formats do you suggest for people to post written pieces of work in ? part of my gallery 2.2 site is set up for poets and writers to post their work......and are there any security issues to be aware of ? ( like not using html or txt formats ) much thanks, paul |

Any format is fine, text, doc, rtf etc. I would recommend pdf as it works with all platforms and thumbs can be generated with toolkits as well.
There is no security issues regarding uploading various items.
