Joomla/G2/Bridge password issue

with help from the forum here ive got a Gallery2 installation bridged with joomla working well. The only thing id like to resolve is that when i logout of joomla it does not log me out of gallery2 - id like to sync the two. i know there used to be a post on the developers forum to do with this but hte forum seems to be down. can anyone offer any guidance?
