Adding custom links to breadcrumb.tpl

I am looking to add my own custom links to the breadcrumb section, along with the links that Gallery creates. Every time I add my own links, I get the ">>" spacer between them. I am just wondering if there is a way to add my own links without the spacer.
The URL of my gallery installation is http://hosting.bkworksproducts.info/CPO/content/gallery .
I am using the Matrix theme.

look for "BreadCrumb" in your theme.css and adjust as needed. or customize modules/core/templates/blocks/BreadCrumb.tpl and use different classes so you don't get the spacers.
