Uploading weirdness

I am using Gallery v.1.5-RC2 When I try to upload images, I sometimes get really strange error messages. From the admin login, I click "addphotos"...the pop-up appears and I click a "browse" tab. the path looks like: c:Greg/mydocuments/mypictures/Lily/ParkNap.jpeg Then I moved the file to my desktop, which to get ANY pics to load they have to be there, and renamed it....and I still got the following message. I get this message on seemingly random photos. All have been moved to my desktop and renamed. They are neither smaller or bigger than other photos that have worked. As well, some Photos have spaces and other characters in them, NO MATTER what I do to these few pics, they will NOT upload. I get this same error message. Any help is welcome. Thank you.
