Storage Directory Permissions issue

Hi, im trying to install gallery on my hosting using fantastico and to install i need to upgrade and when i upgrade and get to step, 3 system checks i get

Storage Directory Permissions
Failed
Error: Some files and or directories in your storage directory are not writeable by the webserver user. Run chown -R webserverUser /home/battlege/public_html/gfxdesignergallery.com/g2data/ OR run chmod -R 777 /home/battlege/public_html/gfxdesignergallery.com/g2data/.

What do i do to fix this?
