"mod_rewrite" and "php path info" fail in gallery2

Here is my machine setting:
Debian/Etch + apache2
From the <phpinfo>, I found that the module "mod_rewrite" is loaded.

However, when I configure the "URL rewrite", it outputs the "Apache mod_rewrite" warning and fails "Php path info" test.

What's wrong with me?
What should I do now?

Pls. Help.

"PHP Path Info Test" is for the "Path Info" mode of URL Rewrite and not for the mod_rewrite mode.
Uninstall rewrite module, then restart the configuration.. at the first screen be sure to pick Apache mod_rewrite.
