Is mysql password encrypted

Hi,
Is the MySQl password in the config file encrypted or is the actual password shown. If so how can I unencrypt it to show what it actually is?

nevermind, I found out, i know it wasnt in the older versions, but wasnt sure about the newer versions.

no. not possible to be encrypted since you need it to connect mysql service.
