transfer gallery?

My client has Gallery 1 on his site. I'm transferring him to a new host. Sorry if this seems a silly question but - is his gallery only on the website he has it on? Or, can I bring his gallery into his new host, who does allow Gallery? I'm trying to save him a whole lot of work, reloading all those pictures... |

Hello,
i have problems to understand you.
If your question is: "Can i move the complete Gallery from one host to another" then the answer is: yes.
This is possible without problems. You just need to make sure the new host supports Gallery.
- no Safe Mode On
- ImageMagick, or NetPBM installed
- exec() allowed
After the moving it will be very likely that you have to reconfigure Gallery to adjust some setting.
But thats all. No reuploading etc.
