To all:

I have all four of the subject plugins loaded on my site. I can add pictures to the cart but there is no option to checkout at all. I am very confused. Is there any documentation or quick installation notes in the forums that can help me.

my site is www.horsefaces.com/gallery

I installed all of them. I configured them. I activated them. I uninstalled and deleted them and then installed them all again.

When I view my site admin options, I do not see the cart listed.

However, when I look at my plugin list, it is clearly there.

The fact that I can put something in a cart shows me that it is there as well.

Here is how checkout is configured.

Here is what the cart looks like....(no checkout option)

Is there a particular theme that I must use?

Is it possible to have too many plugins installed?

my goal it to have the pictures be ordered by size and then checkout by paypal such as picsbypros.com

Thank you for your help in advance.

Regards,
Chris

I had the same problem. I removed the cart module. This duplicates functionality that checkout has. The doc for checkout recommends this as you end up with two carts. The one you show on your screen grabs seems to be "cart" and not the checkout cart... Confusing.

Same exact problem here. Started with Cart, then added checkout w/paypal. No I have no checkout cart at all.
I've uninstalled both cart and paypal then just re-installed checkout w/paypal. Same problem.
Any other thoughts ? I looked at permissions, there is no special paypal setup there.

There is definitely some confusion between Cart, Checkout and Checkout with paypal.
Uninstall and Deleted all 3, then installed Checkout and configured, then instaled checkout w/Paypal and configured.
Then had to set permissions (as album owner) to allow everyone for checkout.
Gotten me a lot further, we'll see how the night goes.
Great stuff..

So I managed to test using the PPsandbox, and even charge my own account for a transaction.
Problem is, I'm using Gallery, and I had expected an email or some download button.
This did not work as epected, and I'm not sure which checkout (core or paypal) is responsible for this.

Sigh, More reading. If anyone recognizes what I'm misssing please... post it here.

Using Gallery, w/checkout and checkout w/paypal. Cart, and pay works fine. But where's my download to get the photos..
Thanks for any help.

Just to close out my issue. I deleted most of the plugins, reinstalled them, re-configured and I am having much better luck.
Just need to remember to check the 'Downloadable' button in Checkout config.

Hi geeWiz,

can you help me out here

I am trying to add the checkout with paypal to my gallery - I am using gallery 2.1.2.

What exactly do I need to configure for it to work?

Sincerely
Solomon

Hi,

that would be a great idea to mak both Carts work together. I just tried to install the modules from sourceforge, but as I se you have knewer versions, where did you downloaded them from?

Just get rid of cart period, use the checkout and paypal modules, Checkout is a cart module in itself, with many added features, the paypal module gives checkout the ability to pay via paypal, payment via email is included in checkout also, once you dump cart and activate checkout its really self explaintory...
