In short: I need the best Gallery upload option you know about.

Wow, this is a real switch. I'm a MAC user incredibly happy with the Gallery2Export plugin for iPhoto. It syncs my titles, descriptions, etc.

However, I can't find a decent upload option for the PC! Here is why I don't want to use the following...

Gallery Remote:
It isn't a complete photo organizer. The PC user is using Zoombrowser (by Canon) to organize photos, and it doesn't appear to grab the titles/descr from Zoombrowser.
Picasa:
I was really hoping this would be like iPhoto where you install the plugin into Picasa. Unfortunately it doesn't…you just install the plugin in Gallery and it finds out your titles. However, my PC friend can't get it to work.
WindowsXP:
This one only grabs filenames. I need it to sync titles etc.

And the big problem is that I'm in a developing country and can't install these things myself. I have to explain everything via Skype and it get's really tedious.

I'm not claiming it's a perfect answer to your problems, but you might like to have a look at my app GLoSS, which provides what I think is a reasonably easy-to-use upload feature. You'll find out more about it over in the doco section here: http://codex.gallery2.org/GLoSS or via the link to my website below.

Thanks Conor. Your software looks great. However, I have since realized that Gallery Remote DOES, in fact, carry the names over from Picasa, maybe even Zoombrowser. It's hard to troubleshoot when I'm not right there at the PC. Anyhow, sorry for the post. Gallery Remote does it for me.

Still, I'm amazed there's not plugin for Picasa (or the others) to directly upload into G2.
