TMP_SESSION_ID_DI_NOISSES_PMT is added to Thumbnail urls upon refresh

I have Gallery 2 integrated to my Joomla site (details below) with the Gallery Bridge. Things had been working fine, but now for thumbnail img src urls, Joomla is replacing the session code with "TMP_SESSION_ID_DI_NOISSES_PMT". This happens either when a) I drill down my thumbnails to lower level hierarchies, and then come back up using bread crumbs or the back arrow, and b) if I just sit on one page and click refresh a couple times.

If I do a shift-refresh the thumbnails are restored.

Here's a good thumnail img src url:
/galleryg2/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=2419&g2_serialNumber=5&g2_GALLERYSID=f95979dcb98eed15cfc72aeb37b9960b

and here's what the same URL looks like after joomla replaces it:
/galleryg2/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=2419&g2_serialNumber=5&g2_GALLERYSID=TMP_SESSION_ID_DI_NOISSES_PMT

The gallery doesn't have this problem when logging in to it directly, so I'm lead to believe there is some kind of issue between my Joomla install, the Gallery Bridge, and Gallery.

are you using the album-select module of g2? a related bug has been fixed lately.

I am using Album Select v1.0.6 -- that's the latest version. I deactivated it and still have this problem.

then it's probably a joomla integration related issue.
