"Please wait" - while search is performing

Hello,

Is it possible for a page to appear that says, "Please wait" or something along those lines while gallery is doing its search? A lot of my users are pretty new to the computer world and they feel a little lost while waiting or they just close the page all together.

Well, the file to modify would be search.php
Probably somewhere inside the 'if ($searchstring) {' block
is where you'll want to ouput a wait message.

You could try a progress popup like progress_uploading.php

I have "mucked around" with search.php... I can't seem to get anything I try to work. I love the suggestion by Joan about having the popup similar to uploading but I don't know enough about php to be able to do that.

If anyone comes up with a solution I would love to hear it and would love to be able to implement it as people search through the thousands of images that I have posted.
