mouse over image swap

Hi!
I want to be able to put a PNG image on a gallery thumbnail, and that the PNG image changes when mouse-over.
I found a script which worked pretty well (but on html or far simple php pages). The tutorial where I found the script is here:

The thing is I don't know where to put these parts (I thought it would be theme.tpl):

And more importantly where I can find the file where I can add the
class="frame rollover" to the images.
I thought it would be 'gallery.tpl' or 'theme.tpl', or actually any of the theme .tpl files, but I just can't find the part responsible for the images.

I am using the carbon theme and I want have the mouse over on each of the thumbnails here (or anywhere else in galleries on the page): http://www.cognac.ihost7.pl/cognac.art/v/bieszczady07-01/

Sorry, I know it might be very simple to solve and I am just overlooking some lines in the .tpl files...
