Wanted : Developer to upgrade search.php

Hi,

I want to change the search result page so that it will return X (5, 10, or 20) pictures and the remaining results be placed on additional pages. There are several reasons why I want to do this:

1. So pages can load fast when someone does a very broad search whereby the result might have 200 images. Not all 200 images are returned because phhp times out before the complete page loads.

2. Php keeps giving fatal error due to exhusting it's memory limit even though I have increased this amount to about 128000000 (or 128MB) and still if multiple search requests are being done by the different users, it still gives the error.

I think by breaking the search result into multiple pages, and have gallery run smaller searchs, it will not only speed up gallery but also use less memory. Has anyone have any ideas or done this?
