Album Descripitions are not properly imported as requested

I'm incredibly frustrated with the way my migration goes. Regardless as to what I tell Gallery to do, it does NOT import the entire description into the description field of my albums. It instead inserts my descriptions into the summary field and truncates them. Is there something I'm missing here?
