AutoLogin for Gallery doesn't work!

I use Gallery as a submodule in a crm suite. Therefore I don't to login twice. I activated the option "REMOTE_USER" (server variable) in the Site-Administration > General. But how can I set the user the this server variable without getting the error message "Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by"?

Please help!

is the REMOTE_USER variable set correctly? is it set by your CRM application?

the normal way to integrate gallery and to solve a single-sign-on solution with gallery is using the GalleryEmbed API.
