Gallery URL (optional but very useful): http://mq.roeiboot.com/gallery_1
Gallery version: v1.5.7
Apache version: 2.0.40
PHP version: 4.2.2
Graphics Toolkit:
Operating system: Windows Server
Web browser/version (if applicable): Explorer/Firefox

i would like to create a gallery with pictures, and either by clicking on the picture or a link under the picture visitors can download a .zip file. currently the best idea i could come up with is to put the files on my ftp and link there... but that is not very practical for the visitors - because i would like them to be able to everything themselves...

any ideas ?

Gallery 1.5.7 supports to download complete (sub-)albums as zipfile.

Downloading one picture doesnt make sense to me.

Jens... the downloadable zip's are not pictures, it's an externally stored zip file.

ok.. i want to show a picture of something, a piece of software (don't worry it's legal) and then when they clikc on it i want it to download that piece of software. yes i know i can add html tag's like <a href="...> but not all people who have access to the gallery have that knowledge.

hope this is more clear..

I do now understand what you mean, but how would you like to do this?

I mean from a userinterface view.
