Dear People, I installed the wpg2 plugin and everything looks fine to me. But still I cannot get a page intergrated in my blog. Everytime I click on a photo it opens a link to the website of gallery (in which I am using Xtreme as theme) and I can login really the whole site shows up and I only want the albums to see. What am I doing wrong ? Can I use as standard theme in Gallery Xtreme or does that theme simply does not work with wordpress. And if so which themes do work. Or is it possible to direct the wordpress page to a specific album where I change the album to for example matrix.? Like to hear. Hi Frans.
First make sure your Galley and WordPress are working on their own; it seems like they are.
Next I'd switch to the wordpressembedded theme inside Gallery2; download it and activate it. Make it the default album from the top down. Again test this works outside of the integration.
Next get rid of the PHP and header elements in the CSS options page. I think that's going to cause problems.

Is this what to expect ? Because I do not like this at all.
What I do not like is that I have to change my standard theme in Gallery (Do I have to that in wordpress ass well, I amusing Aargau). I am using X treme because that theme offers something.
Do you know if its possible only to intergrate one specific album with the embedded theme. I also do not want that people can login from out wordpress in to gallery. I simply wnat to have one or two fotopages from two albums.
Hope you can help me out

And this I forgot, on the moment I activate this plugin and add the photopage. All the other pages give a violation error and I cannot us

That sounds like a problem with the theme.
What theme are you using? What modifications did you do to it to make it work with WPG2? Some of the old pages that show how to modify a theme for WPG2 are outdated for version 3.0.x.

For gallery I am using normally Xtreme and wordpress I am using Daargau. I have tried to use the standard theme matrix from gallery I will try it now with the default theme from wordpress. See what happens.

Oke I have test it. If I use the default theme. It is all most correct, but that are I think no problems with wpg2 but probably I have to adjust some options like adjusting the size of mine thumbnails.
But that is not at all what I want. I chose the theme Xtreme under Gallery and Daargau under wordpress for several reasons. So if can not do that its a pitty but than the wpg2 plugin is not something for me. A pitty because I sounded good.
Or is there anyone how can tell how to adjust this in Daargau ?
Next to that what I also found a problem is the rewrite funtions. On the moment I test it, everything is disabled in Gallery2 and I have to activate those plugins again. I have two wordpress blogs and one see that permalinks are on the other one not ?
Does anyone has the answer to this problem.?

You can use any theme you want, you just have to tweak them for WPG2. The best way is to use Firebug as described in this post.
On the URL rewrites, when you install WPG2, it automatically disables G2 URL rewrites. URL rewrites will also automatically go into safe mode (off) EVERY time you deactivate and reactivate WPG2 from the Plugins Management tab. This is because rewrites cause lots of problems, and we want to make sure that your embedded gallery is working before you turn rewrites back on. You should get a warning on the WPG2 Validation page about this.
The easiest and best way to turn G2 URL rewrites back on is from the WPG2 G2 Rewrites tab. If you go to that tab in both blogs, turn rewrites off and then back on, it will make sure that the rewrite rules are correctly written to both blogs' .htaccess files and to their respective internal rewrite arrays.
