Who is this automatic user called (guest) in the gallery whom I cant delete after installing and what does he do?

After installing the gallery, I realised there were already two users, myself and another user called (guest). I tried to delete that user but its impossible. Does anyone know who this user is and his function? |

Hello,
sounds like a Gallery 2 question to me.
I am no real G2 export (g1 dev, hehe). But its sounds to me like the "everybody" user in G1.
When someone visits your Gallery, but is not logged in, then he/she is treated as user 'guest'.
This way you can give permissions what guests can do and what not. This is handled via this guest user.
If this *is* a G2 question, just tell me and i move this thread over to the G2-forum.
