Gallery 1.5.7 How to edit startpage album layout

The following information is required to get an answer:
Get this information from the PHP diagnostic (in the configuration wizard).
Gallery URL (optional but very useful):
Gallery version: 1.5.7
Apache version: 2.0.57
PHP version (don't just say PHP 4, please): 5.1.6
Graphics Toolkit:netpbm
Operating system:Solaris 10 u4 08/07
Web browser/version (if applicable):firefox latest

Hello,

I just got gallery 1.5.7 running on Solaris, everything's great except on the startpage the photo albums are from top to bottom and i would like them in a grid of 3x3. I cannot find where to do this.

Can somebody help?

Hello,

this is not possible in 1.5.x
Gallery 1.6 can do this.
But its currently still only a testing/developer version.

I have changed the albums.php.
The middle section (the part where the album icons are build) was split for LoggedIn and Not LoggedIn user.
So they have both a different layout.
If anyone is interrested I can post the changes.
